Problems launching gw, etc

I can not seem to launch gw, geturl or gwpatch. I'm running on Windows 95.
I double click the icon, the prompt appears briefly (about 2 seconds) and
suddenly disappears. Am I doing anything wrong?

These are console programs, and should be run from the command line
with the appropriate options. geturl and gwpatch are used during
installation. You will only need to use gw. It's manual is at
