I have my indexes set up to email the logs to me but I never get anything. Do I have to setup some SMTP sever stuff? The only setting I see is the email address to send the logs to. This is on Windows 2003 server.

The Windows version typically will not send emails as there is not a command line equivalent of sendmail. If you install a command line sendmail equivalent on your Windows server you can put the path to it in the script where you see the line:

<$sendmail=""><!-- no sendmail equivalent for simple mail delivery -->

The walk logs do not get deleted, they are available through Walk Status until the next walk.

right so it is deleting (overwriting) it, not rotating the log file.

Yes, the error table will stay intact if you are doing a refresh walk.
