We are migrating to new machines. They are a different operating system (old: Windows 2000, new: Windows 2003)

Question: can I just copy the testdb directory from the old machine to the new machine to avoid having to recreate my profiles?

Thanks!

What matters is the Texis version. Look at the platform listed in the output of
texis -version
it will be -32-32 or -64-32 or similar. If that part is the same the databases can be copied. Otherwise not. If you have full Texis you could use cpdb or addtable to migrate the tables between formats.
