creating a geocode

I am trying to generate a geocode for the allcity table but when I try it generates the same geocode for all lat/lon

I am probably doing something wrong but it's been a while since i've messed around with the geocode functions.

I am using this function.

<geo2code $latitude $longitude>

lat: 32.35111000 lon: -95.30083000
geo: 411009469

lat: 33.57083000 lon: -117.63472000
geo: 411009469

lat: 34.13639000 lon: -118.77361000
geo: 411009469

the <geo2code> and <code2geo> don't take decimal degrees, they take DMS format (DDDMMSS).

There are a number of free converters out there,
and there are texis SQL functions that'll do it.

You could also use the SQL functions instead, which
use decimal degrees by default:
