Hi

The base url for one of our site is http://wcd.coe.int

Some urls use httpS and are not followed.
when i switch 'offsite pages' on, they are being followed.
Apparently the aplliance consideres these pages as being offsite which strikes me as strange?

Can this be fixed?

You could either add wcd.coe.int as an additional domain, or https://wcd\.coe\.int as an Extra URLs REX.

Often the secure site is different than the http site, which is why they are treated differently by default.

Hmm

Does not seem to work

WHen i put in the extra domain , the error is the same : Cannot connect to ...

When i use the REX i get a different error : not in requirements ...

Adding the domain to extra domains works for me. Did you specify the domain or the url? It should be just the domain:
wcd.coe.int
Or do you have other non-default settings that may be confounding it? Make sure "https" is checked in the Protocols setting.

Well i created a brandnew profile from 'Defaults' with the ollowing changes, and the behaviour is exactly the same :

Base url : http://wcd.coe.int/ListAll.jsp
Extensions : asp .aspx .doc .html .htm .jsp .pdf .php .swf .txt .xls
Verbosity : 4
Strip Queries : No
Ignore Case : Yes
Exclusions : Removed ?
Storage Charset : UTF-8
Source Default Charset : WINDOWS-1252
Protocols : HTTPS

I did some more testing, and there seems to be a problem at our end. I'll have to sort that out first.

Add
wcd.coe.int
to "Extra domains".

Hi

Just to finish off with this one.
The problem was definitely at our end.
The profile works again.
