Is there any way to use this search appliance to find "external" broken links? I know I get the reports for broken links within our site, but we would like to find the broken links going outside from our site.

If there is a way, would you give me how I can accomplish this?

You can set Off-site Pages to "Y" and it will try to index the external links. You may want to use a separate profile if you don't actually want to search them.
