You also need the testdb directory where all of the settings are stored.

Restore the entirety of testdb and DB1 and/or DB2.

Is there a testdb for each individual profile?

The testdb database has the settings for all profiles. The DB1 or DB2 folder contains the data crawled by that profile.

There are no further steps needed. If the testdb and db2 are both restored then the profile will have been restored. All the settings are stored in the testdb.

Thank you for your help. I was able to restore my profiles by restoring the testdb folder. The profile folders and db2 were already in the appropriate location.

What else would I need to routinely backup for disaster recovery or to reinstall. I will backup the profile folders, scripts, and testdb folder. What else is important?
