Hi

To avoid returning too many records, i have set 'ranked rows' in search settings to 200.

When i launch a search which finds a lot of records (>200)
and then i click on the link for page '9' links for pages 11 - 14 are displayed.

When i then click on link for page 11 i get an error 'no more documents ...'

I have looked at the XML returned by the query, it does not seem to contain any indication that not all results will be returned.

Have i missed something?

I've moved your question to the Search Appliance group and removed the redundant "Appliance : " from the subject.

That's expected, if not ideal. The same happens if you hit Next on page 10. You can never view more than "ranked rows" records though the result count may be higher. The page links are based on the result count, not ranked rows.

That does not strike me as very user friendly.

It would be nice to know how many records to expect to avoid displaying invalid links.
