more timeout's

Post by michel.weber »

We are getting a lot of timeouts.

Given that we have a 250K profile and users are executing mainly single word queries.
The profile is the destination of a replication.

An example search returns 439 hits with ranked rows set to 200
- What ahould a typical response time be for such a search?
- What ahould a typical response time be for such a search if the user also specifies a category?
- If a single refresh walk is running against this profile, how does this affect the response time?

At the time i'm writing this, nearly all searches time out.
Getting to the search page itself takes 10-15 seconds (with example XSL)

This is getting critical!!

I'd suggest opening a suport ticket so Thunderstone can get more details and possibly access to the appliance.
