Post by Thunderstone »

Hi everybody,

I have changed my httpd daemon user to another user with less privelages.
But still it has read/write permissions to webinator directories. But the
serch is refused. I got the following message:

"
Free Webinator Version 2.1.888855780 of Mar 2, 1998

Error

"

I am using Windows NT 4.) Server as OS.

Thanks in advance

Karlo

Webinator uses a DLL in the Windows system directory called texisscr.dll.
The executable is able to recreate this DLL if it has been removed, and
requires write permission to the DLL. You should make sure that the DLL
exists, and can be written by the httpd daemon user. If the search was
working before the file probably already exists, but is owned by the old
user.
