Choosing Thesaurus 1 and 2

Post by rjshelq »

Hi,

Using Webinator 6.1, I would like to have Thesaurus 2 always on, but allow the search user to choose by some means (such as option button, tilde, or whatever) whether or not to include Thesaurus 1.

Is there a way to accomplish that?

There's no provision for that behavior in the admin interface. They are either both on or both off.

You could modify the search script to do it though. See where it sets <apicp eqprefix ...> and <apicp ueqprefix ...>. "eqprefix" is the main thesaurus and "ueqprefix" is the secondary. When you only want one set "eqprefix" to that one and set "ueqprefix" to "".
