Setting up a development server

Post by linda.a.kennedy »

Currently I'm running:

Texis Web Script (Vortex) Copyright (c) 1996-2004 Thunderstone - EPI, Inc.
Commercial Version 5.00.1086121238 20040601 (i686-unknown-linux2.4.9-64-32)

Am I allowed to use this same copy on a test server for development? If so will it run on a Red Hat 64bit OS?

Thanks,
Linda

That would depend on your specific license, however the normal Texis license does allow you to install on multiple servers, and the transactions would count towards your license.

While that is a 32-bit version of Texis it should in general run on a 64-bit OS. You could either contact support with an exact version and platform of RedHat, or try the install.

Make sure your 64 bit OS has the 32 bit support libs installed.
