Space Problems

Post by Thunderstone »

Since I index with the -g parameter, single pages from a list, I can't
rewalk, but must re-submit my list to update the index. I do this to a new
database, and when it has successfully run, I rename it to the standard
database, so there is virtually uninterrupted access to the index.
My problem is that I don't have sufficient space to hold both the old and
the new database files. Are there any large files which can be deleted
while still allowing use of the index, until the old database is replaced?
Or is there a more elegant solution to this problem?

Thanks,
Steve

The old gw.log file may be removed. You can also save some space on the
new walk by using the -O option, as long as you're never going to use -rewalk.
