Dear colleagues,

I cannot solve the problems with searching non-English words. Reindexing
with parameter -k"[\alnum\x80-\xFF]{2,30}" does not help. It looks like
the problem is in passing argument from search form to "texis.exe".

For instance:

the search for "Tûrs" gives pages containing "RS" (stands for remote sensing)

the search for "meþi" generates error message (excerpt from page source):

The issue with query input of some foreign characters is a locale setting
problem. Some operating systems don't pass the locale settings into
Webinator the way it currently expects them. We are working on adding
the extra code needed to get the information from those operating systems.
