Several new updates are now available for the appliance: texisScripts-21.1.2, texis-7.06.15369..., applianceman-21.1.2.
texis-7.06.15369... contains the following fixes. Note the caveat:
* Caveat: Some older SSL ciphers etc. may no longer be enabled by default, or may be completely unavailable, in OpenSSL 1.1.0+ that the fetch lib (not appliance HTTPS server) now uses. OpenSSL has removed some ciphers from the default, and dropped others entirely (e.g. SSLv2 40-bit EXPORT, SSLv2 56-bit DES, others; see OpenSSL release notes at openssl.org for 1.0.2d through 1.1.0i). SSLv2 support was also removed by OpenSSL.
* Changed fetch lib to use OpenSSL 1.1.0i to fix Cannot complete SSL handshake ... malloc failure OpenSSL issue.
texisScripts-21.1.2 contains the following fixes:
* Fixed matchInfo search SOAP API producing an invalid response when the title or desciption matches the query and hit highlighting is used
* Rank Bias setting was offering non-numeric fields (which do not apply); fixed
* Fixed Match Info on a metasearch profile not applying a configured XSL stylesheet from the metasearch frontend
* Fixed content loaded as a Feed getting highbit content improperly escaped in the search interface
* Improved and standardized detection of walk failures during various points of the walk startup process
* Performing a Find Similar search with Parametric Group By gave Group By item result URLs that did not continue the Find Similar query, but instead re-performed the original text query, leading to incorrect results and inconsistent Group By counts. Fixed.
applianceman-21.1.2 brings the documentation up to date with texisScripts-21.1.2.
