Why do I continue to get help requests ?

Actually, no. The 'Reply-to:' is set to 'webinator@thunderstone.com'
but it prints the users' email address as the from.

In addition, it would help if you added a leader in the 'Subject:' line
such as "Subject: [WEBINATOR] ...", and perhaps a header in the message
itself, and a footer telling users how to unsubscribe to the list. These
are all standards for mailing lists.

Information Please : Ever since I subscribed to your PCN online
newspaper service, I have been inundated with Email that appears to come
to me as if I am associated with Technical support with your firm. Would
you please look into this and see if you can determine how my name got
on a list for others to send tech. support requests to, and if so,
kindly remove same. Thank you for your help.

The main source of discontent here is that the To: line of message has
the address of the recipient rather than the name of the list. If the
format of the mail message from user@acme.com had on the To: line
"Info-Webinator" (for example) rather than ones username, this would be
less confusing.

I am subscribed to several mailing lists that follow this convention,
therefore it must be a doable configuration setting for the webinator list.
If you don't have that option available the option suggested below is
also one I agree with.

Its not related to PCN online.

Ok everybody, here's the deal...

You have subscribed to the Webinator Technical support mailing list.
A mailing list is like a news group distributed via email. You will
receive all postings to the list. You will see other people's questions
as well as our responses. It also provides a forum for Webinator users
to talk to each other and benfit from each others' experiences.
Don't feel compelled to respond to Webinator mail. But if you are
having the same problem as a poster or have solved one, please
feel free to reply.

If you take a look at the "from" lines on a message you should see that
it came from the list, not directly from the person sending it.

Thank you for your prompt response. I had an idea that your answer would
be as it was, however I simply wondered. Now that I know, I'll read for
more detail.

ps: I like your "electronic newspaper".
