While running gw against todo tables, I'm getting a situation
where, after reading 18-30 pages, I get this:
Visited 22 pages total
002 Can't open re-../bin/gw for read: No such file or directory
Segmentation fault
I've tried running it from the database directory, running it from
/bin and specifying both on the command line with the -d switch.
I am using the -o option to grab individual off-sites, and this
seems to be the only instance when this happens.
It is rw by my httpd user... and works fine until the fault.
I'm on Irix 5.3.
Any ideas?
And, just for grins, what is the max database size for the free
version, couldn't find it in the documentation anywhere.

I'm not able to re-produce the error here, could you ftp the core file
to
ftp://www.thunderstone.com/incoming/kentgw.core ?
Try using a new database as see if you get the same results.
The limit on the free version is 10,000 pages.
Thanks,
Bart Richards

That's odd, It's not dumping core. I'm getting this on three
different databases.

Check out your ULIMITs. We use the same gw on IRIX 5 as you are using,
and we have had no similar problems.
If it is not ULIMITS, then try to download the binaries again.
Thanks
