Will webinator work with Netscapes HTTPS? Will it index a HTML file that
is secured with the same?

No. The Webinator does not contain any Netscape SSL code , and as such
can not talk to the daemon in this mode. Only the Netscape browser
supports that protocol.

Actually there is a free implementation of SSL, done by one Eric
Young, called SSLeay, with libraries for developers. Info available at
