I was wondering if anyone has improved the meta search script provided by
Thunderstone.
In particular, the meta search script returns only 1 (1st) search results
page from each search engine, and does not allow 'paging throught search
results' for neither each search engine individually nor all search engines
collectively.
It also doesn't filter duplicate URLs/matches returned.
It looks like the filtering of search results page from some SE doesn't work
correctly (the script gets a max of 6 matches from Lycos).
Has anyone taken the meta search script a little further and added support
for any of the above things and is willing to share the changes?
It would also be nice to have support for some other search engines, like
Google, HotBot, Northern Light, Dejanews, AltaVista, WebCrawler...
Any help would be appreciated.
