Indexing pages with IFrame

Webinator Professional Version 5.00.109269...
Webinator 5.1.44-Windows-w/plugin dowalk

I am trying to index several pages that each use four IFrames. I would like to include all information within the IFrames in the same search result.

The issue is that I noticed that even when I select 'Y' in the Administrator for "Inline Iframes" there are actually two pages indexed the main page and seperately the content IFrame page. I think this has to do with the fact that the content IFrame is set to src="url". The page specified in the url is indexed as a seperate page.

Separate (SRC=url) <iframe>s should still be indexed (with Inline Iframes Y) as part of the parent page.

Is the URL for the parent page publicly accessible? Can you post a link to it so we can check further? (If not, open a tech support ticket.)

Here is the link http://www.adainformation.org/GeneralPublications.aspx

It appears that every page in the publications section is being indexed as two separate pages by Webinator. The main portion of the page is being indexed as one page and the IFrame in the content area as another page.

Try turning off all checkboxes in JavaScript String Links: the iframe might be getting re-generated by JavaScript and interpreted as a link (in addition to being an iframe). (You'll need to do a Rewalk Type New rewalk instead of Refresh, if you're not already doing that.)

I have now unchecked the boxes for Profile and File. I also ran the walk again as a New rewalk instead of refresh and I get the same results. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

That works for me. Try the latest scripts from the website.

Webinator Professional Version 5.00.109269...
Webinator 5.1.70-Windows-w/plugin dowalk

I am now using Webinator 5.1.70-Windows-w/plugin and I am still getting multiple pages on all of my web pages in the results from one page using IFrames. I did another new walk and I verified that the boxes for Profile and File were unchecked. Let me know what I should try. Thank you for your help

It may be due to your old software (texis, not scripts). Contact sales about an update.

Is there any way to find out if this should work in my version of webinator?

I've already tested with current versions of the scripts and they work. So I'm thinking the problem is your old version of Texis, 5.00.
