key word field length

What is the longest length the keyword field can be???

This is too long but covers are entire product line.

Do you mean the meta keywords on an html page? There is no limit.

Yes there is this is the result from a search. Best Bet Keyword file is is currently 468 characters.

Ah, with query logging on the keywords wind up in the url for logging. The truncation message means the keywords won't get logged when a user clicks on the url.

The limit is on the entire printed url and is 512 bytes. The logging url includes the query, the actual page url, bestbet group name and keywords. A logging url can be close to 200 bytes with a typical query, not counting the target url and best bests. So those combined need to be less than around 300 bytes.

p.s. the warning is only visible on the "test search" page, not the "live search". So if you didn't care about the bestbet keyword logging you could ignore it.
