Webinator binary & index sizes

Can anyone tell me the size of
1. A compiled Webinator binary, ie. on Irix.
2. Typical size of an index, based on say, 1M of HTML pages

About 1.6 MB on IRIX 5

The percentage goes down as the amount of indexed data goes up.

The overhead at 1MB of html is about 100% , normal for a large
DB is 10-15%.
