What am I doing wrong?

Post by Thunderstone »

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Here is what I get when I run the install:

Where is your cgi-bin directory?
Enter the full path to the directory containing your cgi-bin
programs. This is often under the top directory for the WEB server.
e.g.: /usr/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin

This install will place programs under the directory you specify.
Programs in this directory must be executable by the WEB server.

CGI Directory:
/u4/vip/michael/public_html/cgi-bin
----------------------------------------------------------------

Where are your online WEB pages stored?
Enter the full path to the top of your WEB tree.
This is usually the same directory you specified as
document root when configuring your WEB server.
e.g.: /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs

This install will place a directory called webinator
there. It will contain the data files used by Webinator.

Document Directory:
/u4/vip/michael/public_html/htdoc
----------------------------------------------------------------

Who does your WEB server run as?
Enter the user id that the WEB server runs as.
This is required so that the indexer will be able to
make files that are readable by the searcher.

Leave this field blank to make the database files read/write
to all instead of making Webinator setuid.

It looks like you downloaded the wrong package for the operating system
you are trying to run on. Make sure the os you select on the registration
form matches the one you want to run it on.
