There are 3 new updates available:
texis-5.01.1159557523, texisScripts-6.1.1, and applianceman-6.1.1. The texis update works around a Microsoft Explorer issue that can cause connection-reset and browser errors when updating All Walk Settings. The texisScripts update adds the Keep Links setting for skipping <form action> etc. links, and the Additional Fields setting for adding additional data for query display/sorting/searching. The applianceman update adds documentation for the last two features.

These updates are available via the Maintenance -> Check for Updates link on the Appliance.

The additional fields sound really interesting. Is there more information available on usage?

We are currently finishing up the detailed usage documents, but it allows you to define up to three additional fields that can be used for sorting, searching on as well as being returned in the XML.

They are defined under additional fields, and populated using the Data From Field option, which will let you pull the data from the page, meta tags, or URL.

Excellent, I believe this is exactly what we've looking for quite a while. We're looking forward to seeing the documentation...

Would you mind providing some brief information on how to search by and sort by those custom fields when issuing a query URL programatically?

Thanks

Sure, if you can open a ticket via the tech support link I can email you some documentation.
