confused about walking sites

Post by Thunderstone »

Hi out there,

I've gotten Webinator to run successfully, and have an walked an entire
server into a database which I've indexed. The index is nicely
searchable, and works just fine.

What I'm trying to do now, with no success so far, is to walk one
directory on the same server, and create a database for that one section of
the Website.

When I run

gw -d/opt/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/webinator/newdb -jhttp://blah.blah.blah/new

I get the following:

000 Could not connect to /opt/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/webinator/newdb
200 Database created
Visited 0 pages total

and back to a prompt. All ownership and permissions are set exactly the
same as for the default db database, the database for the entire server.
Please help me figure out why I can't walk individual directories!
