Additional fields search

Hi

Is it possible to have a query return all documents with a given value in an additional field and no other query?

(i.e. all documents where &query=&af1eq="News" or &query=&af1gt="20070101")

I have the exact same question, but can't seem to find any documentation about it. Please let us know if anyone has the answer.

No, currently there does need to be a text query in addition to the additional fields.

I think that it would be a great addition to be able to return all results that match an additional search field without providing a base query. This could also be extended to site queries and category queries as well.

This would indeed be very useful.

Quite often people want to see all the documents modified in the last week or the last month in a given category.
