If is was running before then something changed. Either you changed
gw, or you changed the operating system. The message "Bad system call"
sounds like it might indicate a mismatch between the version of gw
that you have, and the operating system you are using.
If you think that you somehow modified gw, then you should be able to
re-install the program, which should give you a clean starting point.
