When i run on the web texis.exe or gw.exe sometimes message a error aphares
--------------------------------
Canot contact licence server
--------------------------------
What might be wrong ?
"The free Webinator must have direct access to the Internet on port 80 to run. (This may sound like an oxymoron, but some people have internal webs behind firewalls and proxies.) The Webinator checks with Thunderstone to validate its license."
Specifically, it must be able to contact ls.thunderstone.com on port 80.
i checked ls.thunderstone.com on port 80 vie portscanner and found it open but i'm still unable to connect to license server....
i've got no idea how to solve this problem...
still need help!

Did you run your portscanner from the same machine where you are running Webinator?
What version of Webinator are you running? Run
gw -version
to find out. Include version AND release when reporting back to us.
I have just installed the Webinator. When I try to execute the "gw" comand at the prompt I get a message saying that it cannot contact license server.Do let me know how to get abt this as well as how to configure port 80 ?
Have you read the other messages in this thread yet?
Have you ensured that you can contact ls.thunderstone.com with a web browser that is not configured to use a proxy and is running on the same machine as gw?
