How do I find out what my Host Operating System is?

Hi,I am wanting to download the Webinator for the purpose of adding a
search capability to my page. I am stuck on the question above in quotes
(this doesn't bode well for me) I am also in a quandry about how to use
the Help requests by ListProcessor. I have never done anything like this
before and the info sent is greek to me and I have no idea how to find
the topic necessary to get this program up and running.

The "Host Operating System" refers to the machine running your
web server. When you telnet into it, it may identify itself
in the login prompt. Also, once logged in, try the "uname -a" command.
If that doesn't help, ask the person that setup the web server (geocities).
You'll also need to ask them where you can install cgi programs.
