We have recently purchased version 2.5 of webinator, having reviewed all other messageboards I cannot ascertain whether webinator needs to access Thunderstone port 80 as a one-off request for registration of licensing. Or does port 80 need to be accessible at all times?

The commercial version of Webinator does not need access at all. The free version does need access all the time.
