to do list

Post by Thunderstone »

Is there any way to list or view what's in the "to do" list?

I'm trying to target specific information and having trouble getting it
configured right without have to -wipe the whole thing and start over. I'd
like to remove certain lines from the "to do" list, replace them, and
continue on.

Also, I'd like to know if a series of commands like:

gw -j<url-1a> <url-1b>
gw -j<url-2a> <url-2b>

can be entered separately as:

gw -j<url-1a>
gw -j<url-2a>

and then the whole batch walked more efficiently with: gw <url-1b> <url-2b>

Does that make sense?

Gw contains a subset of our Texis RDBMS's SQL ability. Specifically
it will perform both SELECT and DELETE operations. To view the
contents of the todo table just type:

gw -st "select * from todo"

similarly, you may delete items from todo:

gw -st "delete from todo where Url = 'www.biteme.com/mosquito.html'"
or
gw -st "delete from todo where Url matches 'www.biteme.com/mosquito%'"
or
gw -st "delete from todo where Url like '/w{1,3}[^/]+/mosquito'"

To be really effective, all you need to know is a little SQL and everything
will make a lot more sense. Texis' SQL is well documented at our site
so surf around its manual as well as Webinator's. BTW: always test a DELETE
with a SELECT first!

Webinator's database schema is documented at:

Have fun,
