Document abstract in Webinator

Post by Thunderstone »

They were correct.

The newer versions of the Webinator attempt to display the first
true piece of language content on the page and not the first N characters.
This is generally beneficial because many web pages begin with navigational
junk that is not relevant to the subject matter of the page.

This feature may be selectively enable/disabled via a hidden form variable:

<input type=hidden name="abs" value="1"> Smart abstract

<input type=hidden name="abs" value="0"> Less smart abstract

Sorry we didn't update the docs to reflect this, somebody dropped the ball.

Happy Holidays,
