case-insensitive index

Running commercial webinator for NT, I'm running into problems with how pages are indexed. We have a site that's been up for years and developers have often ignored using all lowercase in their file names. Linking to file.htm, File.htm and file.HTM will all bring up the same page. This causes a problem because gw indexes these links 3 separate times. Is there a way to ignore case in the index so that a link to File.htm will not be included is a link to file.htm has be previously found?

Set -unique before walking the site.
