I'm on a project and we're currently evaluating
webinator. I'm really not familiar with webinator
performance so here goes...
Given that we create 50 webinator databases each
one containing 5000 indexed pages and perhaps 200,000
queries spread across all 50 database during
a single day...
Presently, we have a compaq proliants with dual
550Mhz 750Meg running Linux with high speed SCSI
drives. Do you think this machine would handle
this type of load? If not, what would you estimate
our minimum machine requirements would be for
webinator to comfortably handle such a load?
I look forward to anyones comments?
