index .msg files??

Does the plugin index .msg files like microsoft outlook mails? I tried using -fother option and it was giving a lot of junk characters apart from the actual text.

Those are actually doc files. Try -fmsw .

It didn't work with -fmsw option. With -fother I could still see the actual text with some unwanted characters, but with -fmsw, i couldn't get the main text. Is there any work around?

If they are not the .msg file's we've seen, which work well with -fmsw , the only other option is to use -fother or write your own filter for them.
