Re-Indexing with dowalk

Do I have to wipe the database everytime I want to reindex using dowalk? If not, what is the command to "rewalk" using dowalk? Currently when I try to reindex I get the following error for each file:

dowalk_beta does not have -rewalk semantics. It always walks to the given database. You need to wipe first or walk to a different database then swap it for live.
