Can WP formats (MS-Word, MS-Excel) be indexed by Webinator ? I know that
commercial Webinator has an optional PDF plugin - is there anything similar
for WP formats, or plans for such a feature ?

There exists a Texis / Webinator Plug-in that understands about 200 different
file types (eg word, wordperfect...). We intended to release it
with Webinator2. However, the company that provided the core translation
software has changed ownership recently, and the status of our license
is not known at this time.
So our yes answer is now contingent on lawyers. We'll notify the list
as to when we may issue the new plug-in.
