I installed Webinator on Linux 3.0.3 in July and it was working just fine at
the time my Linux system recently crashed.
I have rebuilt the system and restored all the webinator files and databases
from intact partitions from my old disk.
"gw" works just fine against all the databases, but when I try to run a
webinator search against my LERC database from the "Thunderstone's
Webinator" html search page, I get the message on the Netscape screen:
ERROR: Could not connect to /home/httpd/html/webinator/WDB/LERC
I have checked that the indicated directory tree is all intact, and that
"gw" works against the LERC database. I have checked the ownership of all
the files and made sure they are the same as before my Linux crash.
I have searched through the webinator@thunderstone.com messages for any
similar problem and found none.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
