Hmmm, where to begin?? Ok, my client, prior to him becoming my client, had a website with Webinator installed and working wonderfully.
He decided to switch hosts (unclear on why) but he did not do his homework and moved his site to a host that does NOT support Webinator.
Enter me ... now I need to find a new host for him that does support the Webinator, and I need to know what, if anything, I need to do to get it working again on the new host.
The site is the same, the URL is the same, all pages within the site are the same, I am just moving it to a host that supports the Webinator.
So ... if I move the whole site to a new host that supports the Webinator, with the Webinator and all of its files still intact, will I need to reinstall, update or take any other action for the Webinator to start working again - or will it just start working as it did before, once the site and all the Webinator files are uploaded to a supporting host??
Also, do *I* need to have Unix or Win2000/NT/XP installed on my own computer to work with the Webinator as long as it is uploaded to a supporting host??
And, when I want to upload new pages to the site in the future, can I update the Webinator to include the new pages in its search results without my own computer being able to support it - as long as I work within the supporting host??
Sorry, I don't know all the technical terms used for the Webinator's functions!! This is my first foray into the world of Webinator!!![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
Thanks so much for your help ...
