Numerical Searches

Post by Thunderstone »

Our site consist of a pages that contain many codes. These codes are
primarily numbers. Is there any way we can have webinator retrieve
pages when a user tries to search for a particular code number. For
example a user who wants to find code number 1234.

I indexed my site using:
1. gw://www.mysite.com
2. gw -index

Thanks for your help.

A recent message answered this. The searchable Webinator
technical support archive is at:

The default index expression is 2-99 alphabetics. You need to use the -k
option to allow numerics. e.g.: -k"\alnum{2,99}"

You will need to use -unindex then use the -k option with -index to
rebuild the indices with whatever new expression(s) you decide to use.
