Query format & IIS 3.0 (ASP)

Post by Thunderstone »

I find that most of my patrons are not reading the
help file and are trying to use boolean logic to
form a query. Even with set theory, webinator
appears to be fussy [e.g. (a,b) MUST be in parens
and their cannot be any space after the comma].

I have written a ASP script to pre-process the
patron query. The script converts boolean to
set notation and leaves set notation alone. I
offer without support to the webinator NT
community. I have also included a routine to
write patron queries to a log file.

Requires: Win NT and server-side scripting (IIS 3.0)
