I'm using the new version of Webinator on our site and whenever I do a
search with the options proximity:rank, word forms:exact, no matter what
I choose for the search term I get the exact same results, and it appears
that it's selecting everything, i.e., I get the first page, then all the
pages immediately off the first page, etc., breadth-first style. It
doesn't matter if the search term is commonly used throughout the site,
or if it never occurs, e.g. "jlfsjlsfdljsf". I seem to get the correct
results, though, if I choose proximity:1 word. Any suggestions as to
what's wrong?

Cheers,
Alex

The search index was not created after the walk completed. You need to
issue a gw -index on that database. Gw should automatically create the
index once walking is complete, so you may have given the -noindex option,
or subsequently unindexed the database.
