We are using two different versions of Webinator. On our main site we are using Webinator v5.1.4. When clicking on a pdf after the search results come up, it hightlights the search terms in the pdf and takes you directly to the term.

On our support site we are using v5.1.51-Windows-w/plugin. I have PDF Query Highlighting turned on. When clicking on a pdf from the results page on this site it just takes you to the top of the document and none of the search terms are hightlighted.

I'm using the same browser to check both sites.

Is there some other setting or something I'm missing?

thanks

Does the url for the hit have "#xml=" after the filename part? Does that part match for both?

Try the latest scripts, 5.1.60, from the website to see if that makes a difference.

I'm not sure what you mean by match? Yes, they both have the #xml= after the URL.

Example.
Here's one on the support site that doesn't highlight:
https://knowledge.rsasecurity.com/docs/ ... =466d55f08

Here's one on the corporate that does:
http://www.rsa.com/products/securid/dat ... 45cd6fff17

Does this give any insight?

thanks.

I updated the scripts on my dev server (which is using the ISAPI version) and the Live server which is using the (texis.exe). The Dev server is now highlighting the PDFs but not the Live one. I can't use the ISAPI version on the live site at the moment. What next?

Thanks

So it flip-flopped? Look at both hit urls again. Extract the part after #xml= and try those to see what you get.
What's the texis version on these 2 machines? (texis -version)

No the corporate version is still the same. I also have two instances running on a dev Support server and a production support server. Both with the latest Script Webinator 5.1.60. The dev is using the ISAPI texis and the Production using the texis.exe. Both versions were not highlighting pdfs before, but now that I've updated the script on both, the dev version is hightlight pdfs but the production version isn't.

For the servers with same version of texis and same version of scripts look at the hit url from each. Extract the part after #xml= and try those to see what you get. Show your urls and outputs here.
