Bad Link from Indexing CGI

Post by Thunderstone »

We have no problem getting Webinator to walk and index cgi addreses.
However the link it creates for the page is not so good.

The link contains escaped-out characters for "?" and "=" in the Query
String. So, when the actual full URL is

www.abc.com?value=100

Webinator turns it into

www.abc.com%#Fvalue%3D100

No browser can acces this URL.

How can I turn this off???

Upgrade to version 2 if you haven't already. Then use the Texis Web Script
version of the search instead of the old cgi interface program called
"webinator".
