While you can't ask Webinator to not recurse down a directory,
you can:
1: Limit acquisition depth (-D)
2: Tell it to walk breadth first (-b)
3: Limit number of pages acquired (-p)
All of these are documented at: http://www.thunderstone.com/gwman/node22.html
A quick note on URLs. They aren't really supposed to be viewed as path names.
The fact that that most implementations treat them as such is
incidental. There are increasing numbers of non-filesystem based Web
servers in which the R in URL really means "resource" and not file.
An assumption on our part that they are paths could lead to errors in
walking behavior.
The Webinators view of tree depth is the simply the number of nodes/hyperlinks
between an entry point and the page in question.
