Webinator and Shopping Baskets

Post by Thunderstone »

Has anyone attempted to integrate Webinator with a
shopping-cart package? The package we'd like to use
(SoftCart) requires relative URLs, while Webinator outputs
absolute URLs. I could write a script to parse Webinator's
output, but first I thought I'd see if anyone has had any luck
with the task I'm about to undertake.

Thanks,

If the shopping cart program you are using is relatively smart, you
should be able to jump into your server at any point and have it
correctly assign a cookie to the user.

If not, consider a different package. The reason for this is that
you will encounter the same set of problems with other walkers like
Altavista, Lycos, etc...
