Webinator as production line.

Post by Thunderstone »

Ok, here's a good one...

I'm looking for a way to have gw eat a file of urls that
aren't sites, but cgisql commands to a Texis database. Then, utilizing
the "-c" switch, write the results into hard-coded HTML. I can feed the
cgisql commands to gw when doing an index into a webinator database, i.e.
"gw -d/foo http://www/cgisql?db=/texis&cmd=select&fmt=etc..." with no
problem-- the return is an html table with pointers back to the cgicookie.

The problem is that when this is duplicated with a "gw
-c/foo...", no pages are found.

Is this because gw is looking for an "index.html"?

I'd tried the "-y" switch, setting "-I" and "-f" to null, but no luck.

Thanks, any help is welcome.
