Can't read Upper Case directories

Post by Thunderstone »

I see that Webinator finds no pages when told to index a directory which
contains capital letters. For example:

www.somesite.com/WEB/index.html

is unreadable because Webinator, for some reason, changes the URL to

www.somesite.com/web/index.html

before it accesses the site, which makes it incorrect, and thus useless.

Any plans to fix this glaring bug??

This only occurs in the NT version of webinator.

This is fixed in the commercial version and will be fixed in the next release
of the free version which is due sometime soon.

The onus for the glaring bug is more attributable to NT than it
is to Webinator. Granted, its Bills world and we just live in it.

As someone else said, we have already made allowances for this
in the commercial version, and will release the free version
update very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
