concatenation of indices

Post by Thunderstone »

Hi,

I have the paid-for version of webinator running on my site, parentsplace.com
In order to help people most effectively get the information they want, I
offer a variety of different searches of my site:
- the whole site
- just the pediatrician
- just the midwife
- just the dentist

Each database is updated incrementally on a nightly basis, and is wiped
and redone once a week.
Each of the sub-searches is its own database (in its own directory).

Is there an easy way to concatenate several of these databases together
to offer a new database, without having to rewalk all of the pages again.
Specifically, I want to create a new databse called: Health, which includes
only pages from the pediatrician, midwife and dentist. Once I have all of
the individual health databases, is there some way to add together all of
my health related databases without having to rewalk and reindex all of
those pages?

Thanks very much,

David

This can and has been done, but it requires Webinator T1000.
